what you think?

Hi all,

My property has been on the market for 8 weeks and I have not had one viewing I have just lowered my property price to £108k still no viewings.

So I rang up the EA and had ago finding out what was wrong as I can not do anymore now and I said how do I cancel with them being my EA they told me how to do and said yes they have no idea why no one is interested in the property this all happened yesterday.

Right so on the way home last night guess who rings me yes that is right the EA with a fella who buying a property had just fell though and he is in a lot of need for a place to live and he whats to view my house.

Is this all a coimcedente or can they set people up so I do not change EA?

What do you think?

Thanks in advance.

I think the fact that you are pulling your house from them has set it foremost in their mind and they have therefore been pushing it to everyone that asks.

I've sold two properties from viewings directly after the phonecall dumping the agent.

Hopefully you'll get a sale from this viewing, otherwise I agree that it is a case of too little, too late for this agent. Move on.

That's even better news. I hope you find your buyer!

Your estate agent is very naughty for quite obviously not marketing it very hard until your call.

Makes you wonder did you really need to drop your price after all. (If EA had been making the effort earlier)

This will almost certainly be a scam. I wouldn't be surprized if 2-3 are mates of the estate agent. Fingers crossed you get a buyer from the other genuine guy.

You will sell if you reduce the price.

damn you really think it will be a scam?

what will they get out of that tho bar me staying with them and still not getting a buyer?

that is if they are all EA friends!

I'm not such a cynic, seek. Your EA gains nothing but a little bit of time, sending 'mates' round (I'm sure an EA could only do it a couple of times before their entire social circle got bored anyway!).

They'd be far better off making a concerted effort to do their job and earn some money. ;)

When are your viewings? Let us know how you get on!
