    WOW! They phoned me back!
    Apparently the decision has been made so I should hear and have some money in 2-3 days.
    Refused to tell me the 'decision' but he did say payment would be made so fingers crossed.

  • That sounds good. Fingers crossed. They owe you a lot of money. Can you then back claim on the mortgage proptection payments and housing benefits etc?

    I think so. Just need to do the rounds of accountant, bank and JSA to get the appropriate signatures on the form.
    Must find the form.:confused::o

  • Now for electricity bill!
  • Don't believe this!
    DWP phoned again - they're runing scared.
    I will receive £304.10 on Thursday. They've taken out £204.68 which I received from WTCs - fair enough.
    I will the get £45.71 a week. The bawstewards take off £18.59 a week because i have a small mortgage protection policy which pays £250 a month. In other words I have been penalised for being sensible AND I still have to pay the £19.05 insurance policy.
    This goverment stinks!

    At least they appear to have got themselves into gear. And Thursday you can start to get back on track of things.

    Why? are they not allowed to take off the mortgage protection thing? I don't know about these things. Hope the MP is helpful anyway.

    I'm sure it is probably what they have to do but I wanted to register a protest about it being unfair.
    Why should I be penalised for spending my hard earned wages to try to protect myself a little.
    It's not as though the policy was tax deductable.

    It's typical of this country at the moment. A friend of mine works at DHL. The police took into custody 15 stowaways found in 1 of their lorries when it arrived from across the channel. By the evening they were in B&B accommodation.
