  • Apparently AKT(ARK Theraputics) currently 30p could either go multibag soon or run out of money
Likewise goldminer CRND current 16p could do the same
In theory you are backing a 10/1 shot,as I said previous not much different to horses

Quite possible Dragon Oil consolidated and or diluted over that period which would give a different amount
Yahoo Finance usually allows for corporate actions but it still seems to show a rise from a few pence to today's 400p.

But his boss probably sold out after it peaked at nearly 600p early last year and is living quietly on a Caribbean island.

Moral: don't put your money in someone else's name!

You might get lucky but chances are it will take a long time and you could lose.
    Try electricword. ELE ?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Only they dont charge any fees till June 2010 and wondered if I were to invest in penny shares to use this service?
  • It costs 10 to sell but otherwise theres no reason not to use it
  • I started investing around March this year, am a total novice and I have now 5 holdings in different penny shares.

4 of them where advised ones from Hoodless Brennan, who advised me that these where holdings I should expect to sell in 1 to 5 years. They are doing ok but all but one is still slightly "down" on original cost.

Remember that with penny shares the "buy" price and the "sell" price can have a big gap between them. MEaning that immediatly after you have bought them, they are probably valued at a chunk less than you just paid, without the actual price going down.

The other 1, which luckily was my biggest financial investment in penny shares was a "hunch". This "hunch" was based on watching the online investment statements of one of the banks in which I had also also invested back in March. One day, they invested a huge ammout of money in a company and I figured if it was good enough for them, with presumably (?) their skillfull investment and money making knowledge, then it was good enough for me. This investment is significantly "up" and means that overall my penny share investment combined are quite "up" already, well before the projeted 1 to 5 years. THough I intend to hold on to them....

If i had more spare cash I thinkI would do the same. Watch a successfull company, and buy, what they buy. But dont spend money you cant afford to lose - Ever

I bought 12000 penny shares in an oil exploration related company a few years ago, they never did rise as promised but I held on to them anyway as a novelty.
The had a share issue about 18 months ago reducing my holding to 200 but increasing the price/share to 20p, I have just checked and they are now worth 2p so my original holding of £200 is now worth about £5.

I thought they had done well, or is that just recently

    Which company Torbrex

Ive noticed recently smaller companies are rising at a slower pace then large cap companies. This can be a warning sign of a tide change, of course it could also be momentary but be careful anyhow.
Personally Ive gone the other end of the scale a few times recently and bought some shares costing about 30 pounds each
