i'm in again - house is starting to look better - will keep persevering!
Probably need to do kitchen today...but wil be ok time-wise - don't have to go into town - did it yesterday - and tea will be in the slow cooker by 8.30am!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Morning all
Most regular morning jobs are done and I'm just having 5 minutes before I really need to get DS2 up. I've moved tonight's stew from the slow cooker to a regular pan and washed slow cooker, and got lunch sorted for DS1 and myself.
It's going to be a busy week, so I best not hang around. Maybe I can phone the home insurance people before I have to be out. I wonder whether it's worth claiming, though. Most of the stuff in the freezer was cheap and I can't remember the excess on the policy. Might be better off keeping the no claims bonus.
Thanks for your kind words re yesterday's troubles. I did manage not to eat the ice cream.
Happy flying everyone!0 -
Morning all
Holly good luck
One of our cats has got injured in the night, it looks like a bite of flesh (about the size of a 50p) has been taken out of her leg. Poor Queen Victoria, she is still purring but hobbling and keeps licking the area. I'll ring the vet as soon as they open. Other two cats are AWOL at the moment which is a bit worrying. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hello! I failed dismally last week (despite apparently doing nothing BUT housework!). I think I shall have to do something with OH - I'm sure he's following me around messing things up again! Perhaps if I duct-tape oven mits to his hands it will slow him down...Grocery Challenge 2010:
