    In my HHC I

Made my lunch to take to work
    Packed my bag for work
    S & S the kitchen
    S & S the bathroom
    Did handwashing
Did a quick tidy of the living room

I haven't had any replies from my emails yet so I can't get on with any more MA stuff yet. I am going to go into work early, hopefully I can have a word with my boss to sort out things from that side. I have a locker needs decluttering there so I may give that a go.

See you all for lots of flying tomorrow. It is meant to be nice weather so I may even get into the garden!

Thank you for the vibes ladies.

    Two bits of top news

    1) The keys are available at the estate agents so DS and DiL are now proud owners of a new flat

    2) The floor board scrubbing mission is complete. I just need to wait for the boards to dry then I can varnish - that'll take place in two chunks and should be complete by tomorrow lunchtime.

I can then start wearing clean clothes again! I have spent most of the last week and a half schlepping around in my decorating gear.

  • Thanks for all the hugs and sympathy. Mouth feeling a lot better, just sore for the injections.

To add insult to injury though, I now have a black eye!

Have added another kitten to family (6 months old) is settling in nicely now. But must remember to get another litter tray. They all 3 want to go at the same time and queue in an orderly fashion, inevitably though one can't quite hold on and has an accident. Its great fun watching them all play, watch telly - Bill likes Planets funniest animals, Belle and Mitzy Super Mario., and of course run around the house like idiots.

First thing on the list is to go shopping, have run out of cat food and everytime I go in the kitchen they all sit there and look at me in THAT way (if you have cats you know what I mean.

ANyway back to the list, plan on action is to achieve level 1 in all areas, but then to focus the rest of the time on one room a week, that way should be organised for xmas. Well, I can dream can't I:rotfl:

Congratulations to ALI and new baby!!!!

Hugs, and prayers to all that need them. TTFN

  • YAY Soappie!:j:j:j:j:jFab news.

DD1 off school again. She's not too bad today but her temperature is still up so I'm keeping her off. DD2 has also got a temperature so we've skipped her toddler gymnastics. I'm not feeling too bad today, just a bit throaty so at least I've not gone downhill.

So I have unloaded and reloaded the DW and put it on, wiped the table & work surfaces down and washed any remaining pots too.

My mum has come round to watch the girls while I pop to the shop...unfortunately the cupboards are bare so I'm going to get some easy throw in the oven type teas for a couple of days so I can sit with the girls and cuddle them.

Off to dry my hair and get dressed so I can pop out. See you later.

    Hi :j

OK then - name and shame time! I found 81  pairs of shoes under the bed [STRIKE]crammed[/STRIKE] neatly lined up in under-the-bed storage thingies. Think I will achieve the fling boogie easily!! I am now putting red stickers on some pairs as a final warning to them - if they pinch, rub or make me blister, they are out (they might behave better when I get back to wearing socks/tights, so I'll give them one last chance!).

Getting them back in the storage thingies may take some time. Is there help anywhere for shoeaholics?

  • Morning all

Congrats to Ali and Soappie :j

Am going to enjoy my last day off - have just rung into work to say i'll be back in tomorrow.

    So today's list:-
Painting in kitchen for 1.5 hours
Shower and wash (paint out of) hair
Meet friend for a spot of shopping and a gossip catch up
Put turkey joint in oven for tea
    HHI
    Check uniform still fits!!!!
    1/2 hour mad tidy everywhere

Quick question - does anyone know whether it's still free registration at SW at the mo'?

Off to slap some paint on the walls

    Hooray on both counts, Soappie!

I'm just taking a quick break after my HHC in the Living Room of [STRIKE]Spiders[/STRIKE] Death.

I decided to start with the easy stuff - is that allowed? So I took all the stuff off DD's (recently tidied) homework desk which is set back into an alcove by the chimney; wiped the top and bottom, pulled it out completely and found a million items fallen down the back :o, hoovered the floor, walls and ceiling, and then decided to glue back the facing strip on the edge of desk which had come off (it's just chipboard with melamine or something). Got out the Loctite, but can't get it to stick down: the board underneath is too porous I think. Hints anyone? Managed to get some on my left index finger, and gave up trying to dust as it kept sticking to the duster.... :rotfl::rotfl:

So I thought I'd take a break and write a progress report trying to avoid typing with the index finger in case it ssssssssssssssssstickssssssssss to aaaaaaaaaaaaaany of the keyssssssssssssssss

    :D

Back to the Living Room, I think. 11:30 till 12:00 anyone? (Though realistically I shall probably go on till 12:30, or I'm not going to make any impact at all.....)

    MissH
