Just to let you know I arrived OK. Haven't had time to catch up, so hope you're all well. Lots of vibes going to those that need them.

Hopefully I'll catch up sometime later...!

    Hi all,

Back from work and have just caught up on the thread.

    Toots, sorry, I misread :o

Right, the weekend. Don't think Dad noticed anything but that doesn't mean anything. Mum loves what we have done in the house. We got down to some gardening on Saturday afternoon and cleared most of the overgrown stuff at the bottom of the garden, I have just got a small amount left to do. We did more out there yesterday and have opened up the garden quite a lot now. I still have some work to do before the ground gets too hard but I hoping to get that done pretty soon. The good thing with them being here is that the house is still really tidy.

    My list

No stairs, so took out everything that could be moved eg photos, plants from the LR and moved ALL the furniture to the centre and cleaned all round! When I put all the photos, ornaments, etc., back (after cleaning them, of course) I had lots left over that I didn't really like. So the LR should be easier to keep tidy without every surface covered in 'stuff'. Even wiped and neatly coiled all the electrical cords/wires. Did 2 binbags' of shredding from Room of Doom as well.

    hope6804 - hope DD2's ankle is OK
Dusty - hope cat is OK and that you have recovered from the cost. I saw the same forecast too and the weather is yuck today.
funfairprincess - can I shop with you as you get the bargains?.
hollyh - bad luck about the job
MissH - glad the tea revived you

    Hope everyone else is OK

  • Sorry to hear about the interview holly - their loss hun but I know it's upsetting.

Have finished with the study for the day but have had a massive throwing session, sorting out all my craft stuff, language files and have sorted out a few things for the charity shop as well.

Haven't done the painting yet but it'll keep - going to get ready and tazz out to the shops so that'll be something less still to do.
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

I have been to work and croaked at my class and whispered at my colleagues LOL
and nearly fell off chair (working with group) due to coughing fit so popped a lozenge in
DS at home BUT working on his laptop - ha I smite him with my IT supremacy (well I can format documents wa-a-y better than him) - he said he couldn't do his homework because the cursor wouldn't go in the right place when he pressed enter (known by me as return which says a lot - I used to type on typewriters!) - sorted that one in two goes *glow* - changed line spacing than that normal thing!
Have made two apple crumbles since the wind KINDLY emptied ma's apple tree yesterday and they are off on a £9.50 holiday today so she hadn't time - one in freezer and one for today - but I made the crumble mix yesterday and cooked the apples then too, it just all needed assembling!
They've gone to Beamish then she and I are flying to my sisters and I get to clear for her - I am ACE at decluttering HER stuff!
Anyway it's my PPA time so having just printed off some stuff I better get on!
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY
