I have telephone line & broadband from Utility Warehouse & wish to transfer to TalkTalk. U.W are telling me I must go back to B.T. for 12 twelve months or have a new telepone line & number.
Anyone else encountered this problem ?

You should be able to keep the same number as the utility warehouse... but with regards to the new contract... You do not have another option. Have a word with Talk Talk see if they are willing to pay any of the cancellation charges BT would issue you for breaking their 12 month contract... although they have no obligation to do this of course. Other than that you would just have to find an alternative offer for the 12 months and then move to Talk Talk :P.0

Its worth knowing that UW's phone and internet service is provided by Opal telecom, which is owned by Carphone Warehouse, in other words Talk Talk.
To summarise you are already on the Talk Talk network, so as the above post suggests give them a ring. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
