I am claiming against capital one for miss selling of ppi . im confident that im going to win as they have made me 2 offers . both offers fall short of all my premiums paid plus intrest . Im curious , once i have calclated the total , can i then add on an amount that i wish to claim for compensation ? thanks for any help .

You don't get paid interest on top of reclaiming PPI. It does not work like that. You get back what you paid them.0

thanks . the ppi i have paid over the last few years , i thought i was entitled to all the premiums back . plus intrest on the amount that i had paid at 8% ? then theres the issue of my credit card balance each month being higher due to ppi charges , therefor incurring extra costs in intrest ? hope that makes sense . am i correct ? asap please as i intend submitting a claim on line tonight . many thanks for any help .0

Hi there
Good luck with this and check this link here on how the FOS calculates PPI refunds, this should give you some idea.

They should give you a refund of premiums, interest charged because of the premiums and 8% compensatory interest - the amount a court would award.
As Di said, check out the PPI board there is lots more information there.0
