Moving house and want to change ISP

Hi folks, looking for some advice.
We're moving next week, and want to change internet provider. We've been with AOL for ages but their service is pants when anything goes wrong and I'm sure we could save money in this area.
OH likes to download loads and we'll be looking for broadband. Otherwise no frills necessary.
Should we change before, during, or after the move?
And any recommendations?

Hi Eels100
Glad to hear that you are changing from AOL - I hope you don't have an AOL e-mail address - they have such a wonderful system that lets you keep it for a smallish monthly fee.
Do you know if the previous occupants of your new abode had broadband, if so, it should speed up the process of setting up a new provider. I would recommend that you choose and contact your new provider asap, then your OH will have their download facility available quicker.
I cannot personally recommend a provider, as I am linked to a supplier, and the forum rules are clear. There are some very good indicators in the forum

I believe that the best value, these days, is to bundle calls and broadband together....

All the best
