spending too much money searching net on phone.

Hi

I am currently on tesco mobile and find the service provided is good, and calls and text messages are cheap. The problem is i like searching the internet on my mobile when im out and about, this seems to be costing a lot of money.

Can anybody recommened a provider that is good for searching the internet... My phone isnt fancy, its only a sansung phone, i search the net by wap.

I am with aol broadband at home, so do they have a option available.

Thank you

Claire

Most networks have a fixed price monthly and daily package.
Not sure if tesco mobile has, but virgin mobile has one for 30p a day - the cheapest from all if I am not mistaking. They are also an OK operator (last I was with them was 2 years ago though).

Get yourself the Blackberry Pearl with T-mobile which comes with a year's free email and internet. Beware of the calling / texting cost though.

Otherwise Three PAYG SIM also has decent internet allowance (150mb) provided you top up every 3 months. Request a free sim here.

virgin mobile is probably best, 30p then the rest of the day is free. dont know if there is a fair usage policy though.

I have a Skypephone S2 bought for £40 on a payG deal with the Three network. £10 top up gives 150Mb internet plus 600 text plus free 3 to 3 - expiry in 90 days. You can also use the Skpephone as a modem for PC. Subsequent top up only needs to be £5 after credit card is registered on line. This is a bargain deal foe me :)

Beware of using a 3 Mobile sim in a non-3 mobile phone (even 3G phones) as not all the services may be available unless 3 have authorised the use of the phone on their network. Check their site for suitable phones.
