just been to get it and local store stopped selling games! Did want the book anyway, so commented to the SA about "friend having combined offer" and she said oh, the game is behind the till, scanned them both, the game scanned at £19.xx and nothing was taken off for the double offer

The coupon wouldn't scan either, but she took it off manually saying "Thursdays are offer change days so anything happens!"

Looks like the double offer may be over

I was just thinking, as this offer seems to be hit and miss and ending soon would it be possible for people to name the stores that the offer worked for them in?

Thanks so much for this, I went into the whs at Castlepoint and hunted high and low, no sign of DS game.I asked an assitant who had no knowledge of the offer but went and checked.She came back & said it had been part of a pre-order offer but would check if it still went through. The Ds games were in a cupboard behind the checkouts. She scanned them both and they were £15. She thought it was a real good deal, but her eyes nearly popped out of her head when I gave her the £5 voucher!!! A fab result.

Orpington WHSmith. It worked this morning. They had the game on the shelf for £19.90. I ask the assistant who had to ring the manager. She scanned the book, game and then siad it might not work and hey presto. Great find

Tried in Canterbury this morning. No DS games in the shop but I took the book to two different tills and asked about it and neither knew anything about it and said they hadn't seen any of the DS games. I might try another branch.

worked in Cheltenham high street yesterday. Fab bargain. Thanks so much to the OP. Feel like I got £50 worth of stuff for a tenner. Still some ds games left on the shelf plus loads of the book, obviously.

Went into the Taunton store today. Deal worked!! Prrinted off 3 coupons, paid for each deal separately so got 3 lots, thats xmas sorted!!!!! Ends tomorrow. (You can get just the book with the vocher for £5 until 2mo)
