Vodafone at the Carphone Warehouse

I can't believe how much hastle the carphone warehouse makes its customers go through. Not only did they get my contract wrong. I wasn't put on Vodafone but Vodafone at the carphone warehouse. (trading standards informed) but they refused my cashback even though I sent it in in time.
And now just as i want to leave them they won't let me have my PAC number over the phone (like EVERY other network) and I have to write to them.
Just be Very Very careful when you sign up and watch everything you possibly can with them.
NEVER AGAIN......

I went to the one stop phone shop (part of the carphone warehouse empire) and signed up for a deal with a free sony ericsson k750i with 6 month line rental for £4.99 on Vodafone. (instead of £35) with 200 mins and 100 texts.
I received the phone and no documentation except a receipt for the phone. There was no contract info at all. I was sent the details after 3 week, by which time it was too late to cancel.
They put me on the Vodafone at the carphone warehouse tarif and not with Vodafone. I phoned Vodafone and they had no knowledge of me. They refered me to the Carphone warehouse and their private deal of Vodafone at the carphone warehouse. The deal of £4.99 wasn't actually put into place until after my first bill by which time my first bill was £75 as they said I didn't sign up to a contract. (I had to pay for text and calls at cost value)
That was all sorted out and then I changed bank accounts to alliance and leicester 7 months Into my contract. All the other companies I have direct debits set up with changed over the details, except the carphone warehouse. I phoned the 4 times to set up the direct debit. Then I went on holiday where they then cut me off for non payment of my bill even though it came to £45 and I had a credit limit of £200 (work that one out). When I got back I phoned them a further 4 times where I was told that it was my fault that the debit was not set up properly.
In the end I went to the fortress that is their main office in Park royal. You can't get in without a swipe card but following someone in in a car with a motorcycle works a treat.
Finally I spoke to someone face to face and they gave me a month's free line rental. But it doesn't end there. They dismissed what he did and charged me the whole lot again on the next bill as they said that it must have been a computer error that I had received a discount.
A bit of a rant and rave I know, but I think you can say its justified...0
