It hasn't been a good week. My cold is not bad but obviously has ran me down just enough. I tried to get up early today but failed completely so I have to now be realistic of what I can achieve before weekend.

    Tasks for this week:
    - [STRIKE]Washing up to date (again!!!) - mostly done, will put last load in before going to bed and hang it early in the morning[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]List of what needs to be packed for DD for the weekend - need to be done early morning[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]List of what I need to pack for myself for the weekend - need to be done early morning[/STRIKE]
    - Cash flow to the end of the month - Can't be done
    - [STRIKE]Pay as much rent as possible - Do in the morning[/STRIKE]
    - Deliver leaflets - I shouldn't need to do overtime on Tuesday and Wednesday next week so will do it then
    - Bath dog and clip claws - No time for bath, [STRIKE]clip tomorrow afternoon and take her brush with me[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Move dog walking money to ISA - Do in the morning[/STRIKE]
    - Fill forms online to take ex to court - this should have been priority this week and is not done so on Monday if I only get one thing done this is it
    - Send letter to ex to stop him contacting us again (not that he will listen) - Need to send letter to state what are the conditions for him to see DD, won't be able to do this week so [STRIKE]email in the morning[/STRIKE] and then write letter next week - preferably Monday
    - Keep harassing council - Done
    - Get at least one thing done from the master list - nope

Better go to bed and then get up early.

EDIT: Got there in the end. Off I go......

    Hello,

I am back. Had fabulous weekend with lovely people and was able to spend really quality time with BF without DD running interfearence (sp?). He really treated me and got us Chinese take away on Friday evening and yesterday evening took me for nice meal in the pub. :smileyhea

The odd thing is that I have been on energy healing workshop all weekend and despite getting help with all and any other ailments, I came back with terrible migraine. Better log off soon and head to bed. Busy busy again tomorrow. I can do only half an hour over time as I have my dog walking shift and then in the evening need to get my ex sorted, easier said than done.

    Hi Marru hellowave.gif

i'm glad you had a lovely weekend :)

I knew someone who had Reiki & then also studied it, she initially had terrible migraines after, which seemed to be as result of it all. They stopped after a short time tho so guess it's maybe a build up & release of all the toxins...

    Take care tho, honey

    Hello,

Still having migraine. HB I think you are right. Normally I get migraine when I have my PMT but it goes away when I actully start but not this time. So it could be that all the work that was done to me over the weekend (lots and lots with my back) is really having this effect. Never mind all the work that I was doing and concentrating.

Tonight will be a bit of a write off. I will try to get some rest after I get DD to bed. However there is one task that I am pondering over. I need a meal plan for our holiday trip on narrow boat. That would be 8 evening meals that should be: frugal, easy, quick, 5 year old friendly, won't need more than two pans to cook in. Limited storage and fridge space, no freezer, no microwave and we are likely to be tired and hungry by this time. HELP! We will be stopping in places where it is easy to get fresh supplies.

Oh, that sounds like a bit of a challenge! Chippy??!

When I go camping, I tend to make food beforehand and heat up when get there.

Sorry not much help. Sure a brighter spark will be to able to say more helpful things...!

    Uh, oh.

I have decided to put my dream job working with dogs aside for awhile and try to convert my uni studies from other country to acknoledged qualification in here (accounting). I really don't know where I am going to find the time and energy to study those units that I can't manage to get exemption for but I am going to try. Now I am trying to get my certificates to translated into English and have contacted my uni asking if they can do it. If not then I need to find an official translator to do that. Also I need to estimate how much all this is going to cost me and start applying for funding.

Also I have applied for full time job 100 miles away which would mean that I would move closer to BF. That would mean transfering DD to new school but that position would be a good stepping stone for even better position after I have got my qualification.

The reason for doing this is to really get myself out of this financial hole. There will be time in the future to continue to work towards my dream. Even if I will then spend my retirement days doing it.

Head ache and tiredness have pretty much mucked up this week. I have lots to do so tomorrow and Thursday morning are going to be really busy:

    - Washing up to date (ongoing)
    - Try to get out delivering leaflets
    - Get hay for piggies
    - Clean piggies
    - Buy carrots for piggies
    - Leave instructions for my piggy feeders
    - Pack for holiday
    - Make meal plan
    - Shop for meal plan
    - Get prescription renewed
    - Walk friends dog
    - Email to one creditor
    - Letter to one creditor
    - Fill forms online to take ex to court
    - Send email and letter to ex re his visiting rights
    - Tidy house (cleaner is in Turkey)
    - Cash flow to the end of the month
    - Pay more towards rent if I can
    - Empty fridge
    - Leave rubbish out
    - Sort out couple of email addresses that are not working at the moment
    - Go and drop cleaner's money off and leave note that I won't expect her back until November
    - Submit hours
    - Request for documents in English from Uni
    - Drop off some money towards debt I have to nursery
    - Wash dog
    - Clip dog's claws
