I am so glad this week is over. It has been tough one and I have come out from the other end pretty unscratched apart from the fact that I am behind dealing with washing pile and my kitchen is a health hazard _pale_

Tomorrow DD is going to have her first 5 hour day with her dad since the court. So first things first, I am going to my acupuncture appointment. I really need this to work. If it works it means that my earning power will increase and will be money well spent.

Other things I would like to get done this weekend are (apart from sorting the washing and kitchen): Sort out DD's room (with the aid of big bin bag ;)), put up my new wardrobe, sort out my clothes, finally really really want to update my PC (I know I have been talking about this for weeks :o)

But for tonight - I shall go and wait in the line to get my tax credits updated. Oh why, oh why I always leave it to the last minute...:(

Thanks for the free listing tip Aesop but I am not ready to do it this weekend. When I have some photos and item descriptions ready I shall hit the ground running on the next free weekend.

I have been to see the acupuncturist. Now why haven't I done this before. She was AMAZING!!! First she quided me through a grounding exercise and also gave advice how to protect myself from "energy leaks". For example I am knackered when I go to the big Mr T. I have now this imaginary wonder woman cape keeping me protected.

The treatment has left me very tired and at one point very sad as well. It became obvious that I didn't get much nurturing when I was a child. I have always known it and I actually thought I had dealt with it but it just popped up again. My back is really screaming at me now so I think some kind of healing crisis is going on. However I do feel calmer and even dealing with pr@t ex earlier today didn't wind me up too much.

Obviously no sorting out or decluttering has been done today but at least I feel that I am on the road to recovery and soon have the energy and strength to get all those things done.

ETA: Pleased to report thou that cat litter tray got cleaned, kitchen tidied and tax credits updated

Well done with everything you have accomplished today. Now you need to have an early night and chill doing nice things. I am going to collapse in front of tv.

wow to acupuncturist Marru, didn't realise they taught grounding and protection too. Might have to save money and get it for DH, he has problems and we thought a hypnotherapist.

    wonder if nhs do acupuncturist.

hope your back feels better tomorrow.

I am sitting here in the dark house, why? Because I have been so encrossed with what I have been doing that I haven't turned the lights on. :rotfl:

    Two revelations tonight.

I was watching some Finnish music on You Tube and realised that I am actually very proud of my background. I should appreciate and cherish it more. (Ex managed to make me feel ashamed of where I come from and what I represent.)

Secondly while in You Tube I was singing to my favourite songs and I almost cried as it felt so good. Some time ago a sister of my old school friend found me on FB and asked if I was that musically super talented person. Well it was me but I never considered myself super talented. Especially as when I went to music college my singing was pretty average in that bunch. BUT I have now decided to start taking singing lessons even if it just for my own pleasure. I found a teacher that is really close to DD's beaver hut. If she can have me on those evenings when DD is in beavers that would be AMAZING!!!!

Deepak Chopra is talking that finding the secret of happiness is finding the true us, the true self, actually I feel it is not so much about finding - it is remembering. Remembering who I really am.

I feel so much better now - going to bed...

That was really inspiring Marru. You always are.

Your ex sounds like a really insecure person. Dont be ashamed of your background at all. We all have so much to learn from each other that's how knowledge occurs. Yay for Marru.

I am about to iron outside.:o I want to make the most of the lovely weather and make boring chores fun while i can in the holiday. The neighbours will think i am bonkers. They are working on their sky light i think.

I guess it it down to the individual. I went with my gut feeling when choosing a solicitor and now when choosing an acupuncturist and I think it was perfect choise both times.

Back is fine, mood is fine, lots of tidying done and still feeling fine. I feel FINE!!!!! Chatting to my oldest friend in FB (she is a mental nurse :rotfl:- I mean really, she is) but shortly afterwards stitcing is calling.
