I have cancelled orange, it's been disconnected already.

Unfortunately it is too late to ask for a MAC, you should not have cancelled your Orange, you should have asked for a MAC, and given it to 02.
You may now be charged a cessation fee £25 on your Orange account, as BT will charge them for this, it is up to Orange whether to charge it to you.
Luckily 02 do not charge you a connection charge, but had it been another IP you could have been charged £40 or whatever is the current rate as well as having to perhaps pay orange £25
could be a costly mistake for not asking for a MAC0 -

Not now you don't, having cancelled you are now out of contract, although as previous posters have said it could end up costing you whereas with a mac it would probably have been free.0
