    Morning all

Two jobs that have to be done today and two more than i probably will do and one more that I might do if I get time lol

See how the day goes - shops open 1pm to 6 pm over here so I've a slow start

So what happens to the "2 you probably will do" and the "one you might do if you have time" if you don't do them? You just release them, hey-ho, they're gone, don't worry about them any more? The MS-ing company and the client were replying on you to do them. IF YOU DON'T THINK YOU'LL BE BOTHERED TO DO THEM , DON'T ACCEPT THEM!!:mad::mad:

I experienced the ultimate in frustration today; stood in a chopping centre when I rec'd an email for a released job...in the shopping centre where I was...and i couldnt open the bl00dy PDF file to view the assignment briefing......now off to search for a pdf reader for my blackberry

And that is exactly why my husband is buying me a Netbook for Xmas - in fact I've had it about a month now (he let me have it early :j:j) and I've already picked up at least half a dozen jobs with it while I've been out and about that I wouldn't've been able to do otherwise :T:T

Yep, accept them, then either phone or email tomorrow and get them to change the date.

Yep, great thanks. Been eating, drinking, swimming, cycling, Will & Meggy have done kids archery, and tonight there was a fireworks display by the lake. Oh and I spend this morning in the Aqua Sana on my own - no husband, no kids .. utter bliss!!!!

I love the aqua sana at Elveden. I would live there if I could, in the steam room with the herbs in. So jealous.

The Greek herbal bath was lovely I kept going back to it. Also the Balinese steam bath. I'd not been to the Aqua Sana before but will definitely go again. I wonder if they have mystery shoppers there!!!

try beam reader from bb app world, it is about £12 i think someone said. only problem i found is that on re notes where they have photos on (eg samples of store pictures) it makes some pdf documents too big for bb to open even with the reader. is strange though as i only got the free 10 day trial which has ran out but i can still open pdf abai briefing notes attached to emails but can't open pdf's directly from websites  i have not bothered to buy it as i only really need it for re and i am usually on here in evenings doing reports so can check it when jobs go on

I'm wondering if some kind person can help. I've searched through the first few pages of this thread and cant seem to find the answer to my question.

I've registered with Mystery Customer Evaluations and cant seem to find any jobs. The search features tells me there are available visits in about 20 different towns however when I click on each town I get the message "(You are not eligible for any of the visits in the cities you chose.)" Is there actually jobs available or not? I've looked for any training requirements but cant seem to find anything.

Do you do video work? I keep getting emails about available work for MCE, but I do video visits. It's possible that the jobs they currently have are all video and therefore are not available to shoppers who do not have their own kit. Just a thought...
If it weren't for mystery shopping I would never have discovered the joy of launch control.
  • Thanks to cte1111 and Miss Qwerty for your very helpful advice. :)

I've been hoping to do a pub visit at some point soon for a bit of variety! I tend to do the burger jobs most often because I can find ones that fit in with my other commitments more easily. Plus, barring any changes that might crop up, I feel like I know exactly what I'm doing with those jobs now and the questionnaires are quite easy.

The only problem I've had with the burger jobs is that they tend to be rescheduled a lot due to 'problems with another visit'. Maybe I live in an area with a lot of unreliable shoppers!

these particular ones are all with the same company. i am still waiting with fingers crossed for movie and ice cream for this weekend for myself (heres hoping). as for movie visits in general one auditing company that we dont mention does them and i have recently registered with a movie only site and have my first visit for them this month. I am sure there are other companies as well. I still want to know who does the bowling as I have never seen this anywhere yet :o

I used to do bowling visits for Optimum Contact. Don't know if they still have the contract - I stopped doing them a while ago.

How dare you be so bl00dy judgemental???? For your information the two i would probably do have a due date of the 13th and can be done any day up to and including that day - if I detoured to that one the 'might' do one which is booked for Thursday could have been re-scheduled to be done today (as per the assignment guidelines).

I take my responsibility to the company (who ever that may be) extremely seriously and if I am in any doubt over whether I could fulfil an assignment I do not take it.

I'm not the first poster you have been sharp with and I doubt I will be the last but I will not stand by and have you throw comments at me from your high horse.
