Hi all - i'm posting this again seen as the ignored one has taken up the board again.

Prob a stupid qu but I'm doing my 1st pizza delivery job tomorrow, it says i need to order the specified dets on the assignment which is fine but can I order additional items too???

    Kelly

Depends who its for I think, RE's latest one seem to be ok with ordering extra items, but I don't think gap ones will let you (but I havent done one of those for absolutely ages so could be mistaken).

You might be right that i may not do many MS.

It all depends on what i get for my time. I'd rather make a few hundred quid for a few hours work then a few pounds.

The reality is i will keep trying loads of different things until i find what i want.

MS is a good start IMO.

Before I click the ignore button, this is to the troll - why don't you get on with earning all this money that you are on about, by using your time more fruitfully than making inane posts in a forum for peole who deal in reality ( as against the realm of fantasy in which you appear to reside).

Don't bother answering me, you're invisible now.

I got 4! And could still see others. I thought ABAi had a limit of 3 of any one brand?

i found last month with the cat jobs i accepted 4 jewellery visits and then i could only see the buy and return jobs. seems the limit is on the type of visit rather than client.

not a problem for me as only one local cat store was on. myb will do the rest tomorrow- they did them over a few hours last month. heres hoping!

Nah. Too much hard work. I will just stick to submitting the reports and earning my fee.

Perhaps you should take your own advice?

RE are still in the office tonight, don't expect anyone friendly to answer though. It's ironic that a company in the business to report on good service and customer focus allow such rude people anywhere near a telephone.

I'm really surprised to hear this. I have phoned them quite a few times, generally when I've c*cked up (e.g. left home with assignment notes but not address, accepted a job on DD's account instead of mine :o) & they've always been lovely :T. Guess it's the luck of the draw.

Hmmm, think I've been a bit ambitious with the jobs I've accepted this week. I'll be fine if the work meeting is quick, the trains are on time and I get a good phone signal on the train. 1 posh shop, 2 jewellery, 1 cat, 1 station & 3 phone calls in next 48 hours, in addition to own 'proper' job. 1 job is in London, 1 in N East & I live in the middle :rotfl:.

St00zer, what you say is spot on. If you write a negative report you will be questioned, cross examined and called a liar. This rather defeats the point of mystery shopping.

I have written many negative reports. I have MSed for around 15 years and never been called a liar. On the rare occasion a fact has been questioned I have enough information to substantiate my findings.

There is a skill in Mystery shopping and report writing that requires the truth of the assignment to be given in an honest and objective way....if you have this you will do really well in the job....without it you will be doomed to a few agencies and some uninspiring assignments until they sack you.

Sorry to be blunt but it is a good way to earn money but you do have to take it seriously to progress and prosper
...although you’ll never be rich but might enjoy a few more pennies and some great perks.

I still plan to read all the posts and benefit from other peoples wisdom though.

I was hoping to share mine once i got up to speed.
