Looking forward to hearing about your first five jobs in the same location.

Not sure why people don't believe me that this is possible when I saw more then 5 jobs in one location only a couple of days ago on RE. Sadly they have put me on probation so I could'nt sign up.

What was interesting was the next day 95% of the jobs had gone.

Because we have been there and done that... we KNOW how hard it is to get jobs to tie in all at the same time and place. With some companies as soon as you accept one job, all the rest vanish as you are only allowed one for that particular client. Also there are many times we are in the process of accepting a job, and it disappears because someone else was just a couple of seconds faster.

Also, and this really isn't meant to be nasty, I do hope you'll be using a spell-checker on your reports as I've noticed a few errors - I know you may not have the same standards on a public forum that you would on a professional report, so it's just a friendly word of advice.

Just when this hadnt been asked for a while...

The first one suggests at a regular income, and guarenteed work from day one.

Please expand on this. Why would one get a regular income? Why is'nt others doing MS through this website? Why are they prepared to pay £28 per hour?

The franchise opportunity, well i reckon for £27k I could setup a website like RE. The value these MS sites have IMO is their client base which they have built up over many years.

Although the MS make good money from taking a cut out of the fee it will take many years to recoup the £27k - If i wanted to setup my own company I would look to team up with an individual who has experience on the inside and then just throw the £27k capital to start up the business and I would'nt go the Franchise route.

If i ever started a Franchise I would only got for very well established brands like opening a McDonalds or a Subway.

Please, please, please do this. Go and start a fast food franchise and leave us MSers in peace. Please!

Sure Becles I can help with this one.

I gave them a ring and asked them to add Tesco, Shell petrol, pizza Hut and McDonalds.

They were most helpful on the phone and even offered to add Littlewoods and KFC. I didn't even know they did those ones! ;) I'm now up to 31 clients with them. Is that what everyone else is on?
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

Just making you aware of some other options - It is horses for courses. The franchise route is an easy way in, the client base is worth alot and would skip the 5 year process of doing Mystery Shopping and learning the pitfalls. Have a look at the Sassie website and make some enquiries on the price and service they offer and all of a sudden £27k is understandable.

There are three types of people in the world, those who can add up and those who can't.

    Thanks...

You see all this question asking is helpful to me and to many lurkers reading in the background.

What I appreciate is there are many on here who have been there done it made the mistakes and are now experts in MS. By speaking to fellow people I can leverage of your experiences so I don't make similar mistakes....

I hope others feel positive too knowing they have helped others on this thread because it is greatly appreciated.

I am one of the 'lurkers' you speak of. I dont post a lot as I don't usually feel I have much to add. I hate feeling I am being annoying which is why I don't ask a lot of questions. I do not feel you are helping people like me. I started out MSing about 8 months ago now and this thread (and the 10 mystery shopping threads preceeding it) are a massive wealth of information.
This might seem harsh but I suggest you stop wasting your own time and the time of the lovely people of this thread who go out of their way to help people and do some reading. There is a search function if you have something specific in mind but otherwise have a browse of some of the thousands of helpful posts people have made about mystery shopping and you might find the answers to your many, many questions. To be honest, in my opinion, it seems like you are being very lazy and want all the work done for you.

Just my opinion, sorry if this offends you but I'm getting a bit fed up of seeing this thread flooded with your questioning and it seems like others are too.
