I plan to get 5 jobs done in 5 hours by trying to do them in the same location. There were a number of jobs posted all in the same location yesterday.

I am also going to try and do ones that are very convenient, 30 mins or so from home. Not going to take up jobs with a longer commute then that due to time.

I know how St00zer, is planning to do this........................ By asking questions and annoying everyone......... So no one has time to apply for assignments.......... then taking all the jobs him/herself.

Don't know how all the questionnaires will be completed in time...especially if the first pages on this thread have caused so much confusion for St00zer. !!!!!

Ooh good for you, Monkeyboy, I've had mine about a month and love it - although I do find myself spending more time in MacDonalds/Starbucks/Pret a Manger than usual to use their free Wi-fi and write up my reports while I'm out and about for just the price of a coffee!!

Ever been tempted to have the Gapbuster page open when they're coming round cleaning up etc?!

Looking forward to hearing about your first five jobs in the same location.

Not sure why people don't believe me that this is possible when I saw more then 5 jobs in one location only a couple of days ago on RE. Sadly they have put me on probation so I could'nt sign up.

What was interesting was the next day 95% of the jobs had gone.

We don't believe you because we are experienced! On the one hand you praise the experience of those who have been mystery shopping for a while and then when we try and tell you that its much harder than you think, you don't believe us.

  • I am one of the 'lurkers' you speak of. I dont post a lot as I don't usually feel I have much to add. I hate feeling I am being annoying which is why I don't ask a lot of questions. I do not feel you are helping people like me. I started out MSing about 8 months ago now and this thread (and the 10 mystery shopping threads preceeding it) are a massive wealth of information.
This might seem harsh but I suggest you stop wasting your own time and the time of the lovely people of this thread who go out of their way to help people and do some reading. There is a search function if you have something specific in mind but otherwise have a browse of some of the thousands of helpful posts people have made about mystery shopping and you might find the answers to your many, many questions. To be honest, in my opinion, it seems like you are being very lazy and want all the work done for you.

Just my opinion, sorry if this offends you but I'm getting a bit fed up of seeing this thread flooded with your questioning and it seems like others are too.

    Well said.

Also the agencies have lots of information and training manuals that they have spent a lot of time compiling. Reading these thoroughly will answer so many questions and also help understand exactly what they expect form a MSer.

St00zer I think reading and being able to decipher information is a key skill ...

I wish i had such an impact. I am not god, people can choose to do what they want. I want to learn and make loads of MONEY.

I am not doing any MS now so i am using the time to prepare as much as possible.

We should create a thread with FAQs for MS.

I learn more by talking to people then one sided views from a website though, atleast hear one can expect people to be honest.

I don't have to assume that I have understood something either as people here would explain it in plain english. I always did like speaking to people rather then being robotic.

Cough cough ... first 2 posts of this thread .. have you actually READ them???

You might also like to consider joining this forum - The Office - it's entirely Mystery shopping based and I'm sure they will give you much more help and info than us novices on here.
