I was always under the impression that rescheduling is frowned upon by MS companies and so have only done it rarely but I often think to myself that it would be good to be able to reschedule jobs to all fit in together on the same date and same place etc.
I am starting to do more and more MSing and so any info from peeps that have been doing this regularly would be a massive help to me as I don't want to find that I start losing jobs through doing it as I'm seen as unreliable.
Thanks in advance for you comments!!
Certain companies and certain clients are OK. I like ABA for their initial flexibility (2 or 3 day window), GAP - you can usualy juggle days, and TNS now allow a movement but some are so time ad day specific. Rarely do I resort to emailing to move dates, I'll usually cancel them if it cannot fit in with plans.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

HI
I frequently reschedule jobs and have never had any problems at all with the companies I work for as I still get them done by the final due date. BUT those companies are not the ones that are most frequently mentioned in this forum. I tend to only pick up odd jobs from RE, Gap and Bare if I am already going to a particluar area and want a couple of extra jobs to pad out the day's work, and so don't have much experience of rescheduling for them. I've always found Tern, Gfk and Optimum Contact very amenable to rescheduling, but maybe that's just me.If it weren't for mystery shopping I would never have discovered the joy of launch control.0 -
Juat looking in our local paper today and there is a very brief advert in the jobs section "Mystery Shopping" "rogerprecision" - and an email address - anyone EVER hear of this one? I'm waiting for the email reply to tell me how much it will cost me!Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

I said to her not to part with cash up front. She said a woman's called her two or three times promising her the ability to earn money from things such as driving to work which I find peculiar. That was one of the claims they made.
To me the old adage about if it appears too good to be true, it probably is applies here.
I stumbled upon this myself a while ago when I was looking for new mystery shopping agencies. From memory the money is for an ebook that gives the details of hundreds of mystery shopping companies - it's just information, not actual assignments. I think the bit about earning money driving to work is all about certain companies that will either pay you to have advertising on your car, or will "give" you a decorated Smart car for a very reasonable monthly lease. It sounds good, but their terms and conditions are so specific it's almost impossible to qualify - I don't know of anyone who has been accepted. My advice to your boss would be to save their money. If you want to PM me I will happily give you details of the companies I work for, to pass on to them.If it weren't for mystery shopping I would never have discovered the joy of launch control.0 -

Yes, Roger is great to work for. Not many jobs, but a good guy...he pays you, he doesn't charge a fee.0 -

thats good to know - I've been net searching and seen he was/is on one of the MS forums - very vague about some of the work online obviously. Just rings alarm bells when you see an aol email address.
I've emailed him with an outline of my experience.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

Just done my first job for React, very impressed by the speed the phone recording system puts the recording online for you to listen to!
And started planning my route for the car circuit over the weekend, seems logical to start with the site furthest away assuming the opening times on their website are accurate...It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
