  • Quick gyp question sorry it has been answered before I think but cant find the post.

I did ms at a convenience store today and asked for a receipt but was not given one. Am I still getting paid??
I recall someone saying that they took a photo of the stuff they bought and sent that to Gap with an explanation. It must be worth a try or no payment. You got nothin to lose!
  • Thanks squeaky I've given that go. I'll report back if I get paid next month!

D'oh just expressed three assignments for one client and managed to mix two of them up, have emailed gyp but does anyone know what the likely outcome is?

Can't believe I've been so stupid!!

i seem to recall two people saying this recently, i think one person said gap just reset them so they could do it again and another person said they got a response along the lines of 'tough its too late'

Ahh well I guess its just wait and see then, soooo annoyed at myself, especially after the nightmare that was yesterday. :o
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I did it with Gap phone shop and a competitors shop. I emailed them and within an hour they had re-set them for me and I did them again. Try emailing them on StarbucksUKIreland@gapbuster.com

But I remember someone else doing the same thing and not getting a reply.

  • GRR just had a proof reading enquiry from GR. Apparently I did the wrong cookie kiosk in Bromley, as my photo shows the wrong one.

BUT .. according to both the **** cookie website AND the Bromley Glades shop plan, there IS only one of the darn cookie kiosks in the mall!!

I've emailed them back a polite, but stern email explaining this together with links to both sites which show just the one shop!

I know it's only a fiver plus the cost of a cup of coffee (which wasn't even particularly nice) but its more the principle!

The trouble with gyp is there seems to be no company policy (or not one that any of them adheres to anyway). It seems to depend who responds to your email & whether they got out of brd on the right side . No rhyme or reason with them!

I've been confused with cookie places in the past. At the shopping centre near me there are 2 market stall type cookie places and 2 actual shops. I originally didn't know that there were actual shops so went to buy at the stalls. Fortunately (for me) they hadn't actually got any cookies ready yet, so whilst I was wandering round I happened upon the store.

Hope you manage to get your problem one sorted out.

Has anyone here join Mystery Shoppers. They charge £10 to do their test, just wondered what they're like in terms of job availability (in general, i know it'll vary by area)?
I've not tried them personally, but anything with a joining fee makes me worried for a potential scan. Hopefully somebody else will have more information.
  • Hi All,

I was thinking of giving this a go and saw on the first post that if someone refers me to Retail Eyes they can get some cash so does anyone wanna refer me?!
