Is any body else struggling with the car circuits on BARE because I have done five today and it seems that no one will give a discount more than £500 and I am even going as far as ringing the manager on his phone on a sunday.

How is everyone else getting on ?

Only another 7 to go.

Done 1, discount of less than £750 on 22,500 car. Wouldn't give me a final price unless I committed to buy em....... sure I'll commit without knowing how much I'm spending .

Good to know no big discounts about, I won't feel so paranoid if I don't get any! Out of interest, what sector are you shopping, I'm Acab.

I have been given the aMPV with 12 on but this is my first circiuit with BARE

Let me pick your brain on a few things if you dont mind but I will stick it in a PM to be safe.

I've got discount of £3,000 or thereabouts. I'm only doing 5 for this circuit, but have done quite a few previously. Perhaps it depends on the type of car you are shopping? Mine have been mid sized family cars. I've got below the target price in all but 1 garage.

Mind you they've been taking a long time, averaging 50 minutes per garage. I think if it's quicker than that then you've usually not got down to the 'real' bottom line.

The only time I've really struggled to get a discount is for the scrappage scheme, when there is rarely much more of a discount over the £2k that you automatically get off.

Sometimes you do need to say that you will sign up for it today if they will give you xxx price (I usually go about £500 under the target price). Then if they do agree, make your excuses and run!

I've just done a 13 car circuit for Bare and im SHATTERED. Eyes going squinty etc. I got fairly good discounts for all of them apart from one garage who wouldnt give me anything. Poo.

On that note anyone know what to do if the car shopthey give you doesnt exist? It does exist but not there. SO I have one car shop and one car spec for one place, but that address is for a completely different brand of car shop? I didnt know which one they wanted me to shop so I have not done it and emailled them saying so. BOO

Well done Kvet, it will all be worth it when you get the money at the end of the year.

I had one that didn't exist, I emailed them and they changed the address to the correct address for that garage as they had moved. Mine was early last week though so I had time to do it still within the timeframe.
