what was the error msg?

It just says 'SIM not valid'

sim not valid means the sim card is faulty or you are trying to use a 3 sim in a non 3 phone

The phone is locked to Vodaphone, so i used a different SIM card (Orange) to try and unlock it.

I am over the moon, Browntoa! Just unlocked my Nokia 6030, using the code you so kindly advised me to use. It was very-very easy to do and now I will be able to buy sim card abroad and phone my husband from Russia without any hassle every day for the next three weeks! Thank you again!

Thanks Browntoa, it has worked (my mobile is unlocked) but when i put my Virgin sim card it displays T-mobile , do u have any idea why??
