Hi Browntoa, thank you for that code. It has let me into the phone but says 'no network coverage' when i try and call. Do i need a further code to unlock it to a network?

no, as I suspected the phone is "blocked" by the Network as it was reported lost to them and will not work on ANY U.K network

If you speak to O2 again and tell them you rediscovered the phone they will unblock it id it was not an insurance claim

and need to go to a shop for an unlock, no free way
