Hey, came across this site via google. Could anyone help me with the unlock code for my phone.

Thanks for the reply, yeah I was doing that but the trouble was in inputting alphabetical characters 'p' and 'w' but got the answer back from the main MSE site:

"How to enter the code

Rather than using the regular text keys you need to use the * key if you want to produce letters as opposed to numbers. To produce a ‘p’, press the * button three times within two seconds; to produce a ‘w’, press the * button four times within two seconds; to produce a ‘+’, press the * button twice within two seconds. "

But the codes didn't work though I've tried both of them so does that mean I get locked out after 3 more attempts? (It just said 'SIM card change failed' or similar)

I really appreciate the help though. Through this and the mobile phones forum, I'll be saving £450 on my mobile contract a year! :money: (From £40 p/m to £1.95 p/m for 200 cross-net minutes and 300 texts/ month!!) I was going to post the offer link but they took it down after me! (e2save clearance phone, 10 month free line rental, quidco rebate)

A friend has just bought a Nokia 6680 from eBay. It is locked to Three and he needs to use an 02 SIM in it. Is there any way of unlocking it? Any help would be much appreciated. Ash333
