How long does CCA Section 75 cover your goods for?

I think the OP lost interest long ago, and probably didn't have much to start with, judging by his inability to supply any useful information.0

I'm a bit confused here. Since Dyson have actually admitted it was made in August 2005, and comes with a 5 year guarantee, why does it matter when you purchased it? Even if you purchased it the day after it left their factory, it can't be older than 4 years and 2 months, so is still covered by the guarantee.
An alternative route would have been to forget going through Dyson and to hold Barclaycard jointly and severally liable for any SOGA claim (repair or replacement) using Section 75, on account of the fact that the retailer Woolworths no longer exists. To go down that route you wouldn't need to pay Barclaycard for copies of your statement, just say in your letter "as your records will show, the transaction took place in 2007".0
