That's the one, beanie - be warned, anyone who gets it.....it can be quite an emotional journey once you get into it!!

I've done an hour's flylady - bathroom, ensuite and cloakroom, and put a load of washing in. I am therefore going to pay myself £5 :D

I've also made a start on my Christmas cards.....the important ones, ie the Great Aunts etc who we rarely see, but I would feel awful about if I didn't even make the effort to send a card.

Hope you have all had a good evening so far.....

I've not got THAT far yet EH......well, we did a few ages ago, but that was just a token effort I think.

Flylady has the following challenge.......I have signed up

the challenge is to have all your ironing done by New Year's Eve - to start 2010 with an empty ironing basket

Do you reckon I can pay myself a productivity bonus if I achieve it

    Right.....

As you know, flylady and I have an on/off relationship.....when we are together, we are good for each other, then when we drift apart, life becomes muddled and unhappy.

So.....I found myself hunting for a cleaner......can get one for £8.50 an hour for 3 hours a week = £25.50.

Hurrah, I thought, I can move on from my previous failed attempts at a relationship, and get another woman in  I have tried counselling, I have tried "the silent treatment" and I really thought the time had come to call it a day.

But something stopped me from doing the dirty (no pun intended).....If flylady and I make the effort, and I DO accept that there is probably more input needed on my part in this relationship), that is the equivalent of £5 not spent on "the other woman" for every day that I do what I need to do.......(it is a mid week relationship only - I need my weekends to recover), and not only that, but I will also have 50p left over to buy a bag of minstrels on a Saturday morning :o

So, flylady and I are agreeing to give it another go......and for £5 a day where the list is completed, to go into my "moving house" (ie pay off the mortgage) fund.

I'm not sure which I am most looking forward to - an extra £100 a month going to the mortgage.........or the minstrels on a Saturday

Mmmm, I like this plan - defo Minstrels for me!!

Since successfully slimming and exercising into my party dress last week, this week I am hoovering up any chocolate coated morsel I can lay my hands on! :o:eek:
