Morning all -
Well done on the bingo win! I don't have time as I'm off to work now.
Just popping in to say I went for a run this morning - very blustery and hard work, but i feel great now :j *hands over baton to hypno*
Consider your backside virtually kicked!:D

well done macgirl - I will head out after work.......honest.....**takes baton with mock enthusiasm**
I got £1 bonus on BB for the infamous CG, so played another game and won a further £7.50.......just can't withdraw now for 24 hours as I had just withdrawn the earlier winnings in order to be able to play the bonus
But, not a bad start to the day £20.50 in total......Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Have just done my banking and £9.50 BB money, and £16.50 mystery shopping money has been received, so a total of £26 finds its way to the ski pot quite happily.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Isn't the announcement today only another step in that direction (or not if the charges are deemed fair) and can the banks not find another reason for procrastination?0

Morning - thanks for enlightening me about CG. I didn't know there was chat either though it does explain the box that keeps popping up saying that I can't connect to chat!!!
Nothing on BB for me so I need to find another source for my PAD.
Goodluck with the announcement today xx0 -
The announcement went against us.........Martin remains on the case, and if we ever get anything back it will be a minor miracle, and one that will take a long time.
Still, as I said yesterday, I had all but written off the money anyway, so although it would have been lovely to have a good result, it is not the end of the world.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. i'm really sorry about the bank case news it's very unjust but i bet the banks would have argued poverty or financial hardship if they had had to start paying out what they should have never charged in the first place.0

Not going for a run tonight - have a sore throat, so sorry macgirl, I am going to be a big girl's blouse tonight.....if it doesn't develop into anything, I will def run tomorrow - but I don't want to ignore it at this stage......excuses I know.....:o
Bit gutted about the bank charges, but I am being philosophical about the whole thing.....It was bank charges that brought me to MSE in the first place, and within 3 weeks of joining MSE, I had £3000 from Halifax repaid to me......and of course since that date have made and saved thousands by other MSE methods......learning to be savvy, in control of my finances etc, and resulting in no bank charges etc at all being charged.
So, although the barclays charges would be nice to have back, I have still benefitted by far more than that over the last three years....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. See! Silver lining on clouds and all that jazz!
I'm really getting into Bingo Britain now! It's going to be a shame when that free money disappear! :rotfl::beer: Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0
