Morning all - Monday again, and it seems to come round so quickly! Scratching and banking shows nothing exciting - balances depleted, as all the "beginning of the month" direct debits come out! We are still on track, though, so it's ok (so far!).

A slight blip on the starting bingo, I want to use a seperate account to keep track easily, and they say I've got to go in with ID to prove who I am, I've had accounts with the bank for over 30 years!! Anyway, can't get in till next week, so no bingo for another week

On the gambling question, I avoid 'normal' gambling like the plague, but this is more playing with free money, or with matched betting/blackjack using statistics. We did really well out of MB and blackjack before, but had to stop when we had useless internet links, so you couldn't be sure of getting things through safely. Looking forward to restarting soon :j

Could you open an internet account with the same bank? When I have done that, they have not asked for ID?

That's what I tried, maybe their system had a blip. We'd opened a few savings type accounts in the past without problems, so I was surprised it didn't work too.

Well it does have the benefit that I'll probably get OH sorted out with a seperate current a/c at the same time, so that he can join in the fun.

My two are not back at school until tomorrow......it seems a lot longer than a week that they have been off!

I have managed to get my week off work - so hope that the room is still available when their lines open at 9 to book the hol.......I will leave it to my friend as she was the one who received the original offer by email, so I will be watching my phone for a text this morning!
