most london councils take bulky rubbish,just phone them,newham is a neighbouring council and they have unlimted collections,although redbridge council charge £50 a time.0

Nelly is close. Stick it outside your house with a sign on it saying: "For Sale - £50" or something, and it'll be gone in two days.
I once put out an old broken computer and monitor out on the offchance that the dustbin men would take them. They didn't, so I just left them there. By the next morning they were gone.0 -

Appreciate it has a defect but what about freecycle?
There may be some budding sparky who can fix it , or perhaps a local college needs a "practise" project for students on an electricians city and guilds course , just thinking laterally .0
