Have just signed up to internet dating agin, when will I learn!

    Oh well done!

One of my best mates met her husband online and she is now expecting a baby so sometimes you meet nice people and not crazy strange ones!!!

I'm too scared of it though to give it a go, I'm carp at handling the rejection I think....:o

I didn't go into work today, have a horrendous cold and a nasty sore throat which has turned into a cough instead.....boo!

    Roll on the weekend.
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!

It's not for me either but I can't understand why we have such issues with it because none of us have any problem with making female friends on here. Loads of people from the forums seem to meet up all the time but it's always women meeting other women.

I've got a friend who married someone they met on internet dating too and I have one or two good friends that I've met on there...

It's not that scary once you get used to it but there are a awfull lot of very odd people that you have to sift through. My friend was telling me today that one of the guys she'd been chatting to decided to tell her last night that he likes being photographed wearing womens underwear  she politely declined to meet him :rotfl:

I've tried internet dating and it's not for me, well it is if I'm bored but I am bored of that at the moment, but this morning I was out with the mutt when I passed this lad I sometimes see when I'm walking, anyhow he smiled and said hello, normally he justs smiles, only trouble is I had my hat on hood up cos it was raining and waterproofs, didn't exactly look smart, so same routine tomorrow and hopefully I'll pass him again. Last time I saw him he was with this lad I knew when I was a kid, who'd said hello how you doing? which I found surprising cos we never spoke when we were kids so didn't think he would recognise me, but he isn't bad looking either, suppose that's the compensation for been a dog owner every now and again you see someone good looking rest of the time it's the crack pots and there dogs.

I forgot Makeup what works for me when I've a cold and an old school friend recommended it is mint tea with honey and lemon, and I reckon it works, and I use lemon juice in the bottle can't be bothered with real lemons.

I swear by hot lemon juice and honey when I have a cold (I always use bottle lemon juice lol). Absolutely great for helping you feel better.

Thanks guys, I've currently got a glass of wine on the go....I made a dish this evening which needed wine so opened a bottle!!!!

But am totally with you on the hot lemon and honey. I also tried making a ginger infusion which was lovely and I mixed in some lemons and honey.

I actually bought a ton of lemons for Christmas and have lots left over so am ok for them at the moment!!!
