Hi everyone keep your chin up like I am trying to do.
Today I was still on contact centre cover from last week, they did not tell me till last minute so I logged out of my phone and stood my ground. they wanted me to do it for a month 10 hours a day. I refused. Other teams take it in turns one person each week.
Been there a year now and love my colleagues but the job is getting more stressful for what I earn. Costcutting and bad communication and morale in the place is taking its toll on people.:(
Some have gone off sick on depression etc.
I keep applying for new roles in admin, i really need to get back to earning over £16k.
I spoke to my friend tonight and could not bring myself to ask for the money back I lent her over 18mths ago cause she is struggling too. I am too soft sometimes.
Anyhow my day off tomorrow and lie in, ironing and then take myself off to the gym or swimming to cheer me up. then job hunting again later.

Sorry to hear about your job. Definitely keep looking for and applying for new things. If you're not happy where you are, try and change it and a pay rise is always nice ;)

Everyone seems to have colds except me, I have not been ill since april 2008 and not one single cold, wonder why?
    ;)

Nope, don't know. Please tell me your secret though, because I get e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. I take vitamins, echinacea etc, etc, but if there's a cold or something going around it will still find me.

Right, off to bed. I didn't mean to stay up this late

  • Thanks gwen for the reply, I am chatting to nice guy online at the moment, he seems very nice and taking it slow. He may be phoning me later as he is in malaysia, hes from manchester and starting a business building a clinic and orphanage in africa in a few weeks and then he is going to build an orphanage in leeds. He has a teenage son and is 45 and have seen his photo too. Hes a christian too and quite religious but does not mind that I am not into religion. He used to be an IT administrator but has been building his business for a few years.:D
I have just had my green flag renewal for breakdown cover £110 ! Its due the 26/3/10 and I have only just received the cashback of £20 when I got it last year! Anyway I have not got the cash to get a new one yet and my road tax is due in march so will only buy six months worth as I cant afford the £185.

Its never ending to be honest. I am sure you all have the same problems as I do. :)
I am doing my ironing and have spent my VIBES vouchers at the shop today - got three cds of motown love songs.
If you know anybody who wants an administrator or clerical assistant in manchester earning over £16k please let me know I need a good job!

    Sounds like quite a catch!
  • Hi hugger yes he does but you have to be careful don't you. Im not into men with money, as I have been so independent for so long, I want a guy I can have laughter and fun with and lots of trust and love.

  • God I've been busy, no time to relax. Been ironing then I phoned up my breakdown cover to cancel the renewal. Going to try and do without it.
so sent the bank another message as they ignored my first about the bank charges of £100. they are debiting it on the 3/3/10 but now it says on the statement 6/3/10. I have £120.10 left in my overdraft and if they take them out before I get paid on the 15/3/10 that leaves me £20.10. they won't increase my overdraft at all saying its cause of my credit score but the credit report is clear I checked it a few months ago.
Weird thing is I had £31k in it 2008 and my o/d was 700 then. dont get it.

I think I have £30 left on cc. And just contacted scottish power after submitting my meter readings and I am £16 in debit. which has never every happened before because I overpay all the time £48 a month for gas and electric each month and it was £56 last year. I have messaged them to find a cheaper option. My gas is on twice a day at work so now going to try and do without in the morning and in the evening as spring arrives.

Peeing my pants in panic about lack of money and will have to tell my daughters dad that she can't visit this weekend because I have no petrol money to take her back. Also put my previous car stereo on the mx5nutz club for sale site for £25 I paid £45 for it a year ago and its working fully. My little stereo has packed up today also in the house, its a goodmans and only had it a year. power is going to the speakers but the unit is not lighting up at all or doing anything so have put it on gumtree for £25 if someone wants to fix it.
I have nothing else to sell really.
I got to have some luck soon! I keep entering the comps on the comps section but have not won anything for 2 years!
