£3 boots, clarabella?? You've got some total bargains there! :T
Cold is carp. I had been taking lemsip tablets, but didn't find they were much use. Couldn't sleep last night until after 3am because I couldn't breathe. In the end I was so tired and upset that I took a nytol as well. I checked the packet and it didn't say anything about not taking with cold remedies, so I thought I'd be ok, but now I'm starting to wonder... I am going to get an early night tonight and I've been drinking lots of hot drinks, so hopefully I'll feel a bit better tomorrow.
Glad to hear you're being strong about the texting. It's not easy, but cold turkey (or as cold as you can when you've got a child together) is the best way until you're feeling a bit stronger. Just take care of yourself.

hi all
am just flying out of lurkering to say hello... all mad here as usual. School is good but work are seriously annoying me - I seem have to have accepted reduced hours only to find that I'm still working full time anyway. So my mission for this week is to get my meeting booked with my manager, to discuss my revised job description and hopefully get it put forward for an upgrade. If I haven't told you I've done this by Friday, somebody shout at me but if it's Sarah don't be too scary please .Shawtj2 - sounds like you've tried hard, enjoy the time you have with your Dad & maybe one day things will be different between you & your mum.
I've certainly had plenty of ups & downs with both of mine & it's only since losing my mum that I recognise that a lot of her actions which I thought were really harsh at the time, were in fact attempts to make me see the consequences of my actions ( grow up in other words
)
I'm getting there, slowly & not entirely willingly
, but now realise just how damn short a human life is
& how squabbles & ill feeling can waste so much precious time & ruin happy memories for the future.
Ulp, sniff, v right as usual. Having nearly lost my dad two years ago, and mum having scared us both silly with a problem recently (she's fine, it was just a strange reaction to the flu)... they're not perfect and neither am I, doesn't mean I wouldn't miss them terribly.clarabella23 wrote: »My duvet has lasted quite well as well, considering, as it's just pure white, and so hard to keep that way!
? I deliberately get plain white as then it won't fade and I can boil wash it if absolutely necessary! Think one of the current ones is 5 years old!
Went through my Excel charts tonight and worked out that although I probably won't quite make my intended DFD, I might not be far off. Barring disasters and despite the best efforts of my former uni. Going to try and be rather more organised with food - flatmate is willing to help if we start growing stuff :j and we can also share stuff like if I start to actually use the breadmaker for its proper destiny instead of as an extra shelf. Plus I reckon it's easier to get nice summer clothes on the cheap than winter ones.
Well done Clarabella like your number hiding solution!

Hi everyone keep your chin up like I am trying to do.
Today I was still on contact centre cover from last week, they did not tell me till last minute so I logged out of my phone and stood my ground. they wanted me to do it for a month 10 hours a day. I refused. Other teams take it in turns one person each week.
Been there a year now and love my colleagues but the job is getting more stressful for what I earn. Costcutting and bad communication and morale in the place is taking its toll on people.:(
Some have gone off sick on depression etc.
I keep applying for new roles in admin, i really need to get back to earning over £16k.
I spoke to my friend tonight and could not bring myself to ask for the money back I lent her over 18mths ago cause she is struggling too. I am too soft sometimes.
Anyhow my day off tomorrow and lie in, ironing and then take myself off to the gym or swimming to cheer me up. then job hunting again later.
Everyone seems to have colds except me, I have not been ill since april 2008 and not one single cold, wonder why?

I boil was regularly, and use whitening stuff, but it just doesn't look that good now unfortunately! Was going to try bleaching it as well, but don't know if it's worth it as it has pen marks and all sorts on from DD. Still needed another one anyway to be honest as this is on constantly- it's the only one I like!0

Gwen hope you feel better soon, I had the cold that seems to be touring the country last week and felt $hitty! I even had to cancel my hot date due to it
.
I limped into work though as I am manic and I had Thurs/Friday as hols and didn't wanna miss them!
Well done Clara on the ex :TNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -

It's so frustrating though when all you can do is sit and wait:(. I only have bids on 5 and another one has one watcher.:(
Have also just realised that I will now have to pack up and label 20 things next week and take them all to the Post Office:eek: What have I done? I hate my local one, the queues are terrible and now I will be the worst offender:eek:. Everyone will be tutting at me:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0
