I'm just jealous. It'd be nice to have a man to hug after a carp day at work :o

I know, although having him here the last few nights has made it feel really hard to be alone again :o

Long story short, he's an ex I ended things with because he wasn't treating me right. Cue lots of months of soul searching, talking and promises and so far he's been utterly brilliant at sticking to them. Fingers crossed things stay going well...although does this mean I might be banished from here?! I'm still living alone and paying all my bills and...and....I still tick the 'single' box on forms!! :rotfl:

I have an unexpected day off:j will have to work it back next week though:(. I have taken a few days off next week so I have a long weekend coming up and I really want to spend it on a massive declutter. I just cannot motivate myself. I really need to get this done!

Just checked my account and there has been a problem with my pay and my overtime didn't get added:mad: It will be sorted next week but it is really annoying, I hate problems with pay, they are always on my mind until they are sorted. :(

I have weighed myself and it looks like I have put on 2lbs:(. I hope it's just yo-yoing and goes back to normal at the weekend, at least it will motivate me to get on with the decluttering as I can count it as exercise:D.

I am going to try to make today an NSD as I don't need anything, I have put a £2 coin in the pot and some coins in the piggy.

Off to make a start on the housework:(

Off again today and went to meet Mum and Dad at the shopping centre. When I got there she was sitting down looking so small. She is in agony again, not with her hip this time but with spondylitis which I've had and it's agony. She can't take any more painkillers with her other illness but basically just has to wait til it goes. She was feeling okay when they left home but by the time we'd done M and S she thought she was going to faint and then was sick all over herself so they went home. My poor mum. I feel so helpless with this as there's nothing I can do to make her better. She has a long term chronic illness anyway but that's under control but has since gone deaf and got arthritis in her hip which means she is in agony most of the time. She's so cheery but it's hard.

On a lighter note she brought me up a massive box of chocs, some old mags and £21 of M and S vouchers which was ace! Bought myself an M and S Chinese and another mag! with £5 of them today and have £16 left for a meal and wine next week when I'm off. Will either use it to feed my bro and his boyf or my other gay mates.

Going to Mum and Dad's Tuesday/Wednesday anyway. Sure she'll be okay, just awful to see her struggle.

Having an afternoon in and may make a start on the mags. It's such a treat!

Sarah having time off unexpectedly is ace! I've ended up with 3 days together this week and got loads done yesterday. X

Thanks hon. I just want to sort things for people to make it better but in this case I can't. I do boss her about a lot, trying to get her to take things easier but she battles on anyway. She's very determined...and I'm very much her daughter. Funny, when I was growing up I used to hate her constantly opening windows cos the house was always frozen but now it's the first thing I do when I wake up!!! As Bridget Jones said 'there's no am turning about it, I have turned into my mother!'
