    Hi sarah :D

Are you having a good weekend?

Can you help me? Please can you explain to me why I 'need' these

Hi Shoe Gal, am having a reasonable weekend, am going out tomorrow so have had a frugal day to compensate and am now on here to avoid housework type things.

They are lovely. :DI think you should maybe reward yourself with a pair of shoes everytime you clear a debt and as that looks like it is happening this month then it would be seen as a necessity and a brilliant bargain and perfectly justified. :D But I would probably wait a couple of days to make sure they are not an impulse purchase due to being a bargain (I have soooo many of those:rolleyes:) and check that you don't have anything similar in your collection already (have done that many times, as every declutter of my wardrobe proves:rolleyes:).

Thanks sarah - excellent justification as usual :A

And am loving your 'housework avoidance' technique

Shoe Gal, - you DO NOT NEED those shoes - simples :D

Lula, I admire your frugal stance on the matter. Very sensible advice.

    Aaaaaaah :D

*slides in knowing that she will have the entire thread to herself as everyone else will be watching BJD :p*

Sorry sarah :o I know I completely retracted that fierce & frugal declaration on the shoes, but Shoe Gal had me over a barrel with that pointed comment abut having supported my own teeny weeny spendathon ... I knew she was up to something when she was so encouraging ;)

Anyway, I had a bit of naughty carb fest earlier in the shape of jacket potatoes but I have also done a half hour yoga session & then had a long & deliciosuly soaky bath followed by gradual tan & nail conditioning :)

My bedroom is now looking very tidy & relaxing & to encourage me in my quest to regain my fabulous figure I have hung a Target Outfit on the wall opposite my bed so I see it every morning. It's a great pair of jeans that currently only go halfway up my thighs & a pretty top that I am too scared to even attempt to get over my head :o.

I'm going to have a Gordon now to finish off the last of the tonic water then I'm dry for the next week

PS - Hi Yargo, good to hear frrom you, noticed that you'd been hitting the thanks button, hope all ok with you ? - apart from the tedious debt thing

Am drinking cava and watching Popstar to Operastar on ITV player, it's really good. Given up worrying about the mess for today as it's too distressing:rolleyes:

Oooh sarah, what a fab day out tomorrow :j I know I am weak, but I wasnt entirely sure that Shoe Gal had signed up to the 'frugal' bit of Frugal & Fabulous :rotfl:

Shoe Gal, sympathy on the toothache, sincerely hope it's not Karma; with what I spent I'll be due a set of dentures

I think I'm doing quite well on the frugal side of things; apart from one parking fee I've only bought groceries & household stuff so far this year. I do have numerous virtual baskets with items in on various websites but I have no money in my current account so cant pay for anything unless it';s on the CC & that's not allowed until it's cleared & can then be paid off in full at the end of each month
  • Sarah I like you, see since Shoe Gal can get her shoes, I just need somebody to tell me placing a bid on a bag on ebay was ok too ;)
