    :grouphug: for makeup

I totally agree with Lula, no matter what age or how good a life was lived, it's always very sad. Take care :A

I am a very messy person. I may now have clean sheets & a tidy room but the rest of the place is now even worse.

How does all this stuff accumulate ?

I'm free this weekend I'll come and help, and although your prob not in my area, and I've never house shared, you could move into my spare room, it's not all that big but there's only me and the mutts and dirty cups go in the dishwasher.

That's really kind of you eco:A If he gets any worse I will PM you and head for Yorkshire:D.

Nothing much to report on the NM (neurotic midget:D) front, I did overhear him whining about it to another flatmate who didn't seem interested and I really didn't want to go in there and be part of a slanging match so I left him to it. I think he is going to try them one at a time, hopefully they will all ignore him and he will drop it and just seethe in silence. Might go and sprinkle some crumbs around later. :D

Have just been doing some tidying and am feeling the same way- I have done loads but there is still so much more to do- how is this happening? I never seem to get it done. I think I am going to have to start looking at it as if I was moving out- what shall I keep, what can I do without, what needs binning etc. Then when I do come to move out it should be a lot easier.

Much of the problem is books, clothes and shoes so I think I am going to have to have a ruthless look through them. Also have post that needs shredding, toiletries that need sorting, random leads and chargers for things I probably don't even own anymore, Christmas presents squashed in the wardrobe as there is nowhere to put them...I need to get organised.

Sarah, you're right - ruthless is the answer  I gutted my spare bedroom a few months ago as I couldn't stand the mess any longer and have been really strict since so it has stayed tidy. I am not a naturally tidy person so it is a struggle but worth it to keep the clutter under control :D
