OOh Bowski you should. It's very glam and glitzy and already I think I want to go to Rome on a little adventure in 2011!!! It just looks amazing. Did bits of Italy on the ship but WOW.
I'd highly recommend Rome, one of my favourite places ever!
Evening all
Car's still stuck in the snow...still a good way to save on petrol though :T what a nightmare with the cinema though, hope they've offered you a free return trip! Well done on the listings too souk, I've got lots of ebaying to do this weekend.
Hope everyone had a safe journey home today!0 -
Souk - how annoying! I went to see Nine on NYDay and loved it. Very glam, really captures the fabulousness of 60's Rome!
I've been at home again today thanks to this headache. Still in PJ's and mostly been watching trashy tv!
I've also eaten a box of liqueur chocs which isn't very diet friendly but at least I've eaten them now!!!
Still at least I've not been shopping :jI've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
I've cleaned everywhere today, lit loads of candles and am relaxing now! Couldn't afford to shop even if I wanted to. This is always a rather tight month!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

My candles have arrived:D Am very pleased with them, got 4 so I think I will put 2 away for Christmas presents. Also got a really nice freebie gift bag (the correct one this time) so lots of nice things for me:j. Now that shoes, bag and candles have arrived I have nothing outstanding to arrive.
Am getting very bored with being trapped in the house, I can get to a few local shops so it's not like I am totally housebound but I can't do much, there's only so much cleaning and tidying one person can do. Think I might have another declutter of my wardrobe. Need to make good use of this time since I have taken the week off.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Evening Lovely Fabulous Peeps :hello:Oh dear TDQO, don't think Sarah will be up for that at all! Whoever suggested greenmetropolis on here thanks! Just listed a few old books there and some clothes on ebay. The books are not bothering me but the clothes have a week to sell then it's off to the charity shop for them!
It were me Souk, I suggested it to Sarah but she spurned my suggestion & donated all her books to the charity shop
(only joking)
I just sold one of the ones I listed at the weekend :jDon't Take Life too Seriously - Nobody gets out alive :rotfl:0 -

I didn't spurn it! :rotfl: I just had the books piled up to go and they were in my way. I have looked at the site and might do it in the future if I can get myself organised. Old answer
Speaking as someone who [STRIKE]owns a vast quantity of stuff [/STRIKE]has a few carefully chosen objects;) for a home they do not possess yet, I think it's an excellent idea:D
New Miss Frugal answer.
Is it a bargain? Is it being discontinued? Will you be able to find something similar for the same price when you do get a house or is it better to put the funds towards your house deposit? Do you have space to store it?

New Miss Frugal answer - £150 off, have got the deposit already, just can't find anywhere I like enough to buy
, yes, got space to store, have a loft & a spare bedroom if necessary
Have put into my "watched items" on e-bay so I can keep an eye on it, if it's still there at the weekend I'll get it
How's that ?Don't Take Life too Seriously - Nobody gets out alive :rotfl:0
