Efficient way to heat converted loft bedroom

  • I think the insulation's up to scratch - Kingspan etc.
    Just need something to provide cheap background heat which I can set temp/time like the central heating.
    Think a panel heater would maybe look bit more stylish & I've seen a couple of options in Argos/Amazon for £70-£80.

    U may require cooling in winter so an all in one very efficient solution would be to read this post:

    A little more expensive from the outset but this way it does not matter if left on all day and night!

    No need to spend that much. I was in B&Q yesterday and noticed a very stylish, Black, Mirror effect panel heater with built in digital timer & thermostat for £50. Absolute bargain if that's the sort of heater you are looking for. Certainly worth a look anyway.

    Just had a look on B&Q website but couldn't see anything resembling this offer. Do you have any more info or was this an in-store special offer?

    It didn't appear to be a special offer. It was in store and they had a small pile of them.
