Freeview retune

Does anyone know when the 'retune message' will disappear. I have retuned my sets and they are fine but I can't get rid of the message. I am fed up with pressing the 'yellow button'

Look forward to sensible replies.

Thanks.

    I keep getting the messages on the Channel 5 stations (five, fiver, five US etc).

    Message has disappeared from the other stations but it is a bit annoying having to press the yellow button all the time to clear the message.
    The trouble with doing something right the first time is that nobody appreciates how difficult it is!

    Thanks for the reply. At first I was only getting the message on 5 and FiveUSA, now it is on 3. I am sure they know how much it annoys me but why is it still there?

    Try unpluging the STB from the mains,wait 2 minutes & plug in again.
    I'm no freeview expert but that's what I'd do.

    Are you suggesting that I unplug my TV as well as the message still comes up on that, it has a built in freeview.
  • It's just a reminder. Not everyone has done it yet.

    Apparently it'll stop on the 4th of October (according to a thread on digitalspy).

    Correct, it is mentioned in this link;
