Vodafone billing error causes £3,500 balance

Hey,
I have been speaking to Vodafone today about my Pay Monthly account, and I just thought I would let you know of an issue with their billing systems.
Aparently, thousands of pay monthly customers been disconnected today after a billing error has caused people to reach their credit limits, to then have their services suspended. This happened to me today; I have a Vodafone Pay Monthly mobile broadband account, and even though very little bandwidth was used my service was disconnected. Why...?
...Because aparently I owe £3,500!
This balance is in error, like many other peoples' balances, because the system went haywire last night.
If you have been disconnected and you know full well you haven't exceeded your limit have a word with the Vodafone data team. The guy I spoke to today (his name was James) was particularly helpful, and while the service is being "unrestricted" in the next 24 hours, it could cause further issues with your billing. If it is left unattened, it may not flag up (meaning you get a shocker of a bill at the end of the month), so if you are on Vodafone Pay Monthly, have a word with them just in case.
