Which Estate Car
Hi all,
I am looking to get my first estate USED car so I have been doing some research I have narrowed it down to the following
Volkswagen Passat Estate
1.9 Sport TDI 5d
Ford Focus Estate
1.8 TDi Ghia 5d
Renault Laguna Sport Tourer
1.9 dCi Privilege 5d
Since reading I am now not so sure about the Laguna as they dont seem to be highly recommended.
I am looking for any advice and recommendations. I also have not had a disealcar before. I wondered if it's time to change from Petrol because of the cost.
I am looking for a good safe economical and well set out car with plenty of space that is also economical. I realise its alot to ask but hey I can hope

Are we talking New or Used?
If New I'd be looking at the Focus or Skoda Octavia
If Used then Passat/Octavia/Focus
New car (not even 2months old) up for sale:-
Ford Focus Sport 1.8TDCi 5dr '06' plate
Sea Grey
2600miles
P.M for more details0 -
Laguna and Passat are a size segment above the Focus. The Mondeo is the comparable 'Ford' to these 2.
So if space is a priority, discount the Focus.0 -
I was thinking of getting a used car maybe 1 or 2 years old as no way I can afford a brand new one"The time is always right to do what is right"0

I'd go for the Mondeo.
I have one - it's remarkably reliable - well built, and if you need parts you pay FORD prices.
Best

Ahll have a look at these sites.
http://www.reliabilityindex.co.uk/top10.html?apc=3128339010848601
Search for any car and get all the statistics about how reliable it really is.
This site has Skoda as the most reliable car manufacturer.
And then read the review at http://www.whatcar.com/car-review-summary.aspx?NEW_USED=1&MA_TYPE=1&MA=39&RT=665
And owners reviews
http://www.whatcar.com/car-review-readers.aspx?RT=665
Good luck in finding an estate, the research is the best bit!!!!2011 Wins - Dave Gorman Tickets :j Sony Bravia TV :beer:0
