If it was all metal, probably 40 percent is glass/ plastic and other crap:confused:

i got £90 ish for a fiesta that i weighed in a few months ago when the price of scrap was down

now that its up should be looking at around 110-130 for the car and maybe a bit more including the cat convertor.. alloys etc

I got £150 for scrapping my Fiat Multipla. Would have liked more but seemed to be the going rate, I phoned 3 different authorised dismantlers and they all offered the same, less if it was to be uplifted. I drove it over the last day my MOT was valid.

If I'd have lived near you I'd have paid you whatever you wanted, just to get the dam ugly thing off the street:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

How old was the Fiat by the way?
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

It was ten years old and needed well over £500 to get it through its MOT and goodness knows what else when it got serviced. We got a 6 year old car as a replacement with low mileage from someone we know. Fingers crossed it lasts. We couldn't afford to trade in with the scrappage deal, monthly payments would have been too big to get a car of a decent size for us.
