Any news from Walsall?

CPS were due to be in court today at Walsall (an almost home fixture for Perky).
So far there has been no news in the local papers about another win for his Royal Perkyness.
Has anybody heard anything?

If he won then he'd be along pretty quickly, if he lost then you won't hear a thing from him.Mister_Sensible wrote: »CPS were due to be in court today at Walsall (an almost home fixture for Perky).

CPS won the case, no press involved but I am sure the court will confirm.
Not reported as its just another county court case which I am sure the normal claims will be made that it was a weak defence, setup, if the defendant would have come here we would have given a defence bound to win or similar claims.
The case was advertised BEFORE the event, anyone could have turned up and watched to show it was a properly defended case and the judge YET AGAIN agreed that it was not a penalty and the signage was sufficient that a reasonable person should have seen it and therefore agreed to the terms contained and the original parking charge of £60 was reasonable (objective test as the higher authorities state the test should be).
There is little point in trying to explain the case as certain parties will dispute everything said .. I would suggest calling the court and applying for a transcript for you to read.0 -
Falls off chair in amazement. Any progress yet on accepting the Pepipoo Challenge. Oh I see, Perky only takes cases that involve entrapment against a clueless defendant eh? If the "legend in his own legal mind" was not such a COWARD he would pre-announce that he had a case, allowing experts to draft the defence, and not just preannounce his inevitable victory the day before. Nothing ever changes in the world of Perky Deja Vu (Perky Planet).CPS won the case0 -

Could you provide full name of plaintiff, court number & judge so that I don't waste the court's time?Originally Posted by shortcrust

I do not have the Judge Name, but the case number was 9QT73045 and parties Combined Parking Solutions v Mr Christopher Cooper.
Hearing Room 3 and it was 12:00
That is all you need to obtain information, the court will be able to advise you the Judge name if you feel it is needed0 -
Thank you for the information.
Was the issue of whether or not the plaintiff is "legal person" raised at all ?0 -
If Perky has such a watertight case, why doesn't he take everyone who refuses to pay his invoice to court and become a billionaire?

Thank you, I've sent an email asking for the transcript.
My intention is to replicate the circumstances about where, when & for how long the defendent parked their car and see if CPS want to take me to court as well.
EDIT: Just to add I know this will take months & months to follow through on, but i've time on my hands and am close(ish) to walsall.Originally Posted by shortcrust

At least, this time, he's not boasting how he won despite Pepipoo and CAG (even when they are not involved)I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Obtaining the transcript a waste of time and money if, as is highly likely, the whole thing is a "Perky special" (set up). Ask yourself why something as uncertain as a court case, which is often dependent on the state of the judge's digestion, would be pre-announced in advance. The only possible answer is that Perky knew there was no chance he could lose. It is easy to speculate why this might be so.
In any event it is not worth wasting further words on an individual as sad and desperate as this.0
