That's because on the first link, you'll see that Acer list four versions of the 5738Z. They use chassis numbers, not model numbers.

You get incorrect stickers on computing equipment quite often. It's likely that this is a known issue to Comet so returning it to store should result in a full refund.

These links suggeest to me it isnt Blu Ray and that you were told wrong. Problem is you cant prove what you were told.

The sticker is probably irrelevent unless it states this laptop has blu ray. Stickers often mean "compatible". A lot of people got caught out by "HD Ready TV" when they first appeared.

No idea what you have been reading then, but it CERTAINLY wasn't the links you provided.
