Need ur advice on best contract

hi guys,
i'm in a bit of a dilemma. This is a long story, so please bear with me. I've been with orange for 7+ years. I took a brilliant contract out with them 18mths ago for only £25, where they gave me:-
HTC touch phone free
1400xnet mins
unlimited landline calls
300 text
unlimited orange to orange calls
Now as you can see it was a superb contract, which i thought i got due to my loyalty. But now they tell me that they made a mistake and have made a huge loss. They said now my contract has come to an end, if i want to get another deal, i will have to pay almost full price for a phone such as E71 or E75.
So after chatting to them, for £30 for 24mths, they gave me:-
900xnet mins
unlimited landline calls
300 text
500mb mobile internet
But here is the catch - For Nokia E71 = £130 and for Nokia E75 = £230!!!
I personally think that is too expensive, considering that if I goto another network, such as vodaphone, for £35pm x 24mths i could get:-
ANY PHONE - Free!!
900xnet mins
unlimited landline calls
unlimited text
500mb mobile internet
Or even if i told me husband to open a new account, he could get orange to give him:-
900xnet mins
unlimited landline calls
300 text
unlimited orange to orange calls
for only £25pm!!!
I want to keep the same number and need as many xnet mins and landline calls, so my question is what do you guys recommend i do? Shall i:-
1. stick to my old orange deal?
2. request a pac code and move to vodafone or other network?
3. open a new account with orange under my husband's name and then transfer my old phone number to payasgo and eventually back to my husbands account?
i eagerly await for your reply

How many times have you called retentions? You do get different deals from different staff members."MIND IF I USE YOUR PHONE? IF WORD GETS OUT THATI'M MISSING FIVE HUNDRED GIRLS WILL KILL THEMSELVES."0

i'm aware of that jamie and thats why i've rang more than 8-9 times , but i think its on the system, showing that i have to now pay for the mobile. Today i spoke to someone again and they told me the same thing. I would like to keep my old number, so this guy today said that transfer it to PAYASGO and then let your husband transfer the payasgo number to his contract.0

That's completely unnecessary. You should at the very least be able to get the deals available to everybody else. You can keep your number now by transferring to other networks, so simply threaten that if they won't give you at least something to work with."MIND IF I USE YOUR PHONE? IF WORD GETS OUT THATI'M MISSING FIVE HUNDRED GIRLS WILL KILL THEMSELVES."0
