Tocco Lite on PAYG - how to do you know what features are free to use?

Hello all
I just bought a Samsung Tocco Lite today and having only had a basic Nokia in the past am a bit confused by all the added features. The manual (pretty useless), says that some of the features will connect you to the internet for which there will be a charge but doesn't say which they are.

I am on PAYG (Vodafone) at the moment and want to avoid using up the credit too quickly, but I would also like to have a good play about with the features.

Is there a way of telling which things (such as Google maps for example) will use up my credit and which things are free?

I suggest that as you are with Vodafone PAYG then I suggest that you check with Vodafone website for the rates for calls, texts, MMS and accessing the internet are.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I already did that before I posted the question. The problem is, I don't know which things will use the internet. For example, is Google maps free to use or does it will it connect me to the internet?

Google Maps will use the internet and will cost....quite a bit in fact because it's quite data intensive! You need an "unlimited" data plan to make the most of it really.

    Hi jap200

This a big change in phones so it can be a little confusing to know what's what with your new phone.
