ive just been on travelex site-i can buy euro online and pick them up at the airport-can i pay with a barclays or lloyds debit card without a cash advance fee? and can i get my mother to pick the euro up for me?

Both Lloyds TSB and Cahoot have charged me on debit card transactions at Travelex in the past. I'm also looking for a bank that won't charge me on a debit transaction.

try nationwide they wont charge you but all other banks do as they see it as an overseas transaction
