Free Incoming Fax number needed

Try https://www.efax.com
There is a free version (though they really would prefer you to upgrade to a paid version) They give you an 0870 number which can be faxed from overseas. the free 0871 numbers, I think, cannot.
They email you maybe once or twice a month offering you this and that but no spam. You download a small fax viewer and so far works 100%.0 -
get a 0870 number from efax
http://home.efax.com/s/r/esi_uk_offer?CMP=OTC-uk#
click on "how it works" and then on "basic account" which is free. ignore all the info about efax plus etc.0 -

If you are struggling with international compatability with 0871/0870fax numbers then https://www.k7.net offer a free fax-to-email that uses a US landline number.
Completely free to sign up, just like the mentioned UK based 0870 and 0871 services.0 -
hi, have you tried YAC? (yac.com) They provide personal numbers which are free and although they now charge for a number of their services, they have been around for around five years and I've found them to be very reliable.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

We have a a pair of YAC numbers
( http://www.yac.com ) which are very good. We have had them a while and they were free, though now I believe the cost is £30 per year. I believe there has also been problems calling these numbers from outside the UK, due to Cable and Wireless blocking access to 070 personal numbers. If you need a number for people to call from outside the UK, then an 0870 number would be the answer.
Also very good is http://www.DMClub.net . They offer 0700 pairs of voice and fax numbers free, which cost the national rate to call. They have the added advantage of being simular to 0800 free to call numbers, and as long as you don't advertise them as a free call number you will be OK. They may also have the same connection problem when called from outside the UK, but are fine otherwise."Excuse me, this expires today, will you be reducing it?"0
