Just exploring the pros & cons of this to see if its a viable alternative to having a sky subscription . I have been told that you need a fast broadband connection ( which I have luckily) otherwise the picture freezes while loading?
I was going to get a new telly so im thinking that i could hook the telly up to my pc and be able to watch telly via that ???
any feed back would be great !!

Are you talking the IPlayer, C4OD, Demand5 and stuff like that?
To be honest the only one I watch regularly is the Iplayer as the picture quality on the others is pretty poor once you screen maximise the feed. And that's only on my 22" PC screen.
There are undoubtedly others out there, but whether the quality, once transferred onto a bigger TV, is worth watching I'm not sure.Dave. :wave:0 -
I watch Iplayer, 4OD, ITV Player, Demand 5, they are all good quality now, though I only only watch them on my laptop. There is also http://www.tvcatchup.com/ if you want to watch live tv.0
