Guys I wish you all a very fruitful GFS excursion. I know the policy has changed (can't remember the last time I used a MOC!) but you will be abundant with MOC for things you will buy/can swap & also meet some fellow MSE MOC'ers.

Bully has a son working on Kandahar air base..civilian ,not in the forces,he's working for a Canadian company that is building out there for the UN, he's a building inspector.... but his reports of shells exploding nearby every day and pics of him in his bullet proof vest and his helmet certainly send shivers down the spine...and those of him the other side of the base fence are a bit scary...he will be at the Remembrance Service there today, he was there last year as well, and I scanned the telly , freezing the pic every minute, but in their camo , everyone looked the same...still I'll be trying to spot him again today...0

Unintended_Muse wrote: »Well I'm glad to say that I've just had this mornings post and still no Baileys moc. I'd have been so cheesed off if it had arrived today, after buying my bottle last night.
Just had a moc for a free box of Dulce Gusto pods though, having now genuinely got one and registered it,so I'm chuffed that I can actually use this one.
just a quick warning...I tried to use one in tesco last monday (2nd) and it worked fine...went to use another a couple of days ago and its not scanning, has been blocked on the system. best head to asda or another supermarket if you want your free capsules!Won't buy nuffink without a discount0 -
and was going to post after catching up and checking no one else had beaten me to it - well done gill
but.. I had to register with supersavvy me to get the sample and it would not accept my e-mail and kept asking for a different e-mail address - which I don't have, I only have the one so i had to log out without getting the sample
I also notice on the supersavvy site there are lots of comps to enter so I am not happy that I can't join:mad:after being invited to get the sample
I did try to get a different e-mail with google when VC told how to do it - but could not get one as they wanted to know a mobile number before I could get one and as I don't have a mobile either so could not get a google e-mail address as a second e-mail and I gave up and continue using my own e-mail for everything
you should invest in some more email addresses!! seriously I have about 300...always making new ones for this kind of thing too. Orange.co.uk is the quickest and easiest to set up.Won't buy nuffink without a discount0 -
Morning All
Still waiting for mine, although I've had 2 emails - one saying 'you are now halfway towards gorgeous' and the other saying 'It's the final day, now ask Danilo' (ask Danilo what???).
I've received my Bailey's sample (do you think you can use the coupon for any Baileys??) and the Buzz toothpaste pack, both with coupons. I've also had an email from Dairylea with a link for 30p off Dairylea Dunk Pots, (went into my spam box but it's from Bounty) so look out for that one. I've not printed it because I don't use it.
Can't remember who posted the Bailey's link, but thanks.
PS Also received a 50p coupon off Elastoplast in the post - Waitrose pleeeese open a store near me!! :smileyhea
I got the dairylea dunk pots too...they're reduced to 66p in asda so thats just 44p with the coupon...bought two as my daughter loves to dip breadsticks in them.Won't buy nuffink without a discount0 -

Looks like you are right about it being blocked at T's, as mine didn't scan, but went to CS and they couldn't disagree that it was the right item, so gave me the money back.
There were no 1litre bottles of the coffee Baileys left [naturally ] so bought the normal one and the sa scanned the moc anyway [she had noticed it wasn't the right type]. I would actually like the coffee one, so hope to swap it next week, which CS said would be ok.
Still on the subject of Baileys, Morrisons have 1litre bottles on offer at £10, all flavours, and no qualifying spend needed. So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try

Popped in this morning for 14 more Domestos, 2 Milka bars (for 40p credit) and some other stuff to get points from recent mailing - milk, yoghurts, greetings cards, newspaper, etc - got 249 points, added some coke, sprite (2 for £2), etc. to get bill over £25 to use £2.50 Farm Foods and used a total of £8.30 of MOC's.
Still seems a bit like the good old days. Did 2 minute silence at checkout - it was eerily quiet in there - made you think and remember.
Thinking about your son Bully - we can't ever forget. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0
